First Protestant Music School is a nurturing and professional music institution located at 172 West Coll Street, New Braunfels, TX. We provide personalized instruction in a Christ-centered environment, offering private and group lessons for all ages. Our curriculum encompasses piano, voice, guitar, wind, and strings, reflecting our commitment to tailored music education. With a semester-based schedule and specialized group classes for children, we strive to make music accessible and enjoyable for everyone, following our motto: 'Everybody is somebody, and Jesus Christ is Lord.'

Administrators
Kirsten Boyd has spent the last 20 years making music. Highlights from her resume include Director of Worship & Arts at Truro Anglican Church, in Fairfax VA, Producing Artistic Director for the City of Fairfax Theatre Company, teaching "tiny humans", and serving as director for various High School theatre programs. She enjoys playing piano for her friends in the ATX Musical Collective (@ATXMusicalTheatreCollective) and stays active outside running and biking in her spare time.

Monica Kiss, Assistant Director
Monica Kiss is a classically trained musician with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Texas State University. She has studied and performed music for over 30 years.
Her performance resume includes organizations such as Opera Memphis and Memphis Vocal Arts Ensemble. Professional affiliations include Texas Music Educators Association and the National Association of Teachers of Singing. Highlights from her teaching resume include her tenure as a private instructor at the School of Worship Arts at First Baptist Church in Universal City TX, teaching general music from Pre-K through 2nd Grade at First Baptist Academy in Universal City TX, and teaching private voice for the Seguin High School Choir. In her spare time, she is active in participating in children's ministry at her church.
